Timothy Medcoff specializes in the areas of products liability, drug and medical device litigation, labor and employment litigation, insurance defense, and creditor’s rights/collection. His recent experience includes:

Representing international pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufacturers in product liability litigation and/or multi-district litigation.

Representing manufacturer of cranes and other heavy equipment in product liability litigation.

Representing national companies in personal injury litigation.

Representing a broad range of employers in all facets of labor and employment law including defending employers in employment discrimination cases, wrongful discharge lawsuits, wage and hour claims, union litigation and enforcement of restrictive covenants and trade secret protections in federal and state courts and before federal and state agencies.

Representing employers in labor arbitrations, grievances and the negotiations of collective bargaining agreements which in one recent case led to the Union disclaiming its interest in the bargaining unit.

Counseling employers on day-to-day human resources issues and assisting employers with personnel handbooks, policy changes, and investigations.

Successfully defended scissor lift manufacturer in product defect and negligence case in Maricopa County Superior Court by obtaining unanimous defense verdict;

Successfully defended national corporation in premises liability and significant personal injury case in U.S. District Court - Phoenix by obtaining unanimous defense verdict;

Won Motion for Summary Judgment in race discrimination case in U.S. District Court. See Hardge v. Golden Eagle Distributors, Inc. (2010);

Won Motion for Summary Judgment in national origin discrimination case in U.S. District Court. See Aguilera v. Golden Eagle Distributors, Inc., 2007 WL 2904167 (D.Ariz. 2007);

Motion for Summary Judgment dismissing case for lack of subject matter jurisdiction affirmed by Ninth Circuit. See Jungil Lee v. ANC Car Rental Corp., 220 Fed.Appx. 493 (9th Cir. 2007); and
